Make your Christmas a cracker with this family treat that will melt your heart. Join the Boy as his Snowman comes to life and they embark on a magical adventure far across the world. Meet a host of woodland creatures, an assemblage of international Snowmen, and even a dancing Pineapple.

There’s snow place like home, and The Snowman returns for it’s 27th year at the Peacock. This is a magical stage adaptation of the much-loved picture book by Raymond Briggs and the film directed by Dianne Jackson.

Directed by Bill Alexander and featuring music and lyrics by Howard Blake, including the classic song ‘Walking in the Air’, thaw-some design by Ruari Murchison, winter-full lighting by Tim Mitchell, and marvell-ice choreography by Robert North, all of which is accompanied by a live orchestra.

I hadn't realised just how young the target audience was. I was heavily looking forward to hearing an amazing rendition of 'Walking in the air', but during the play they just played a recording of the song which I was very disappointed about.

It was a great show. I know this show is for kids but i tthink there should be an age limit for infants

Antonio Jumbo

Great show. My granddaughter enjoyed it as well as my daughter and I.

Colin salcombe

It was falsely advertised. I took my wife thinking it’d be very similar to the actual when actually it was nothing of the kind. We ended up leaving the shoe half way through. Definitely won’t be doing it again as we paid for near enough front row seats.

Carmel Carney

It was hard to get past the snowman’s poor quality costume (and rather grubby rear end).

Debra Norton

Very enjoyable!

The show was good and all staff helpful. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the snowman due to the person on her phone. What happened to the good old day's before mobile phones! Why go out to a show if your going to look at Facebook?

Johanna

So beautiful and touching, wonderful to have a live orchestra and a proper introduction to the ballet from young ones. The only thoughts were that bag check was chaos and the whole bar and toilets need upgrading with many more female toilets as all the children need to be able to go to the loo beforehand, in the interval and after and often it is the mother that takes the children into the loo. The entrance experience, bar and seating could be much better designed.and

A delightful magical performance suitable for all ages.

Evgenia MAVREA

Great performance, suitable for all ages, kids friendly theatre

Caymmi Aguilar Miranda

It’s magical and very well performed. I was concerned that my kids would not understand the show, since they don’t speak English, but words are not used. Kids loved.

H Walton

It was brilliant entertainment for kids and adults alike. Everyone had a wonderful time living in a totally different world for a couple of hours. Well done to the whole team. Excellent.

London Theatre Review: The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre

The Snowman is a story which plays a large part in every Christmas, just as the Coca-Cola advert or Michael Bublé singing on the radio. The story follows a young boy as his Snowman comes alive and they begin a night of adventures together in the snow.
