Well casted...well directed. I liked the set and music

Stark and forceful play, about verbal and sexual violence. The production was as forceful as the script, very strongly acted.

Strang play but excellent acting by all the company. Wonderful direction. So glad I saw it. The music was far too loud.

I found it difficult! I'd seen Pinter before "The Caretaker"and "The Hothouse". They too presented me with problems. I think the set and costumes caught the period, and the acting, except for Gary Kemp, was first rate. But I had a real problem making any sense of the play. As my theatre companion remarked maybe none was intended. The theatre was packed to the rafters which cranked up the atmosphere and enhance the play's own feeling of claustrophobic family setting.

Totally worth all the money I spent! It was amazing and I'm glad that I had the chance to see this. I had a great seat and I don't think it could have been any better. Thanks a lot!

Excellent production, only spoilt by the gentleman sitting next to me objecting to my husband and friend laughing at the dialogue, then pointedly said 'Pinter doesn't do comedy' !

A really good performance, but I still think it was too expensive!

I thought Jemma Chan's robotic 2D performance meant the play lack the dramatic tension that was needed to convey Pinter's emotive and desperate intentions. Ruth is the linchpin around which the play revolved and Chan did not connect w her fellow actors. Sims and Allen were perfect.

first half very good, second half didn't sustain the drama for me.

Didn't think the stylised setting did the text any favours - the subtlety of the play was lost in this heavy handed interpretation Not helped by fact that theatre has small seats so other people invade your personal space!
